🧠 Insights You Won’t Forget
Today's insights are inspired by a recent chapter of my life.
Finding your way
If you are not naturally tied at night and excited in the morning, then you probably have not found something meaningful to work on. You are not stressed from doing to much, you are stressed from doing to little of what you care about.
Discomfort = Progress
Growth feels hard because it is. But discomfort is the signal you are finally leveling up.
Life is not a puzzle to be solved but a current to be felt
At times, it demands action, the discipline to move forward, to build, to create meaning from the raw materials of circumstance. At other times, it asks only for surrender, to flow with what cannot be controlled, to let the world unfold in its quiet, mysterious rhythm. To live well is to dance between effort and acceptance, between shaping the world and being shaped by it.
Every life touches suffering. It is the price of consciousness
The Stoics believed that pain cannot harm the soul unless we allow it to. Buddha taught that suffering arises from attachment, our refusal to accept the impermanence of all things. I have come to see suffering as a teacher, not a curse. It refines the ego, teaching humility, patience, and empathy. When hardship visits, it is not asking for resentment but reflection. The question is not “Why me?” but “What is this here to teach me?” Pain that is understood ceases to rule. It becomes wisdom, a scar that glows instead of bleeds. And once the lesson is learned, suffering need not return in the same form again.
When you speak, imagine your words as seeds
Some may land on stone, others on soil. You are not responsible for the harvest, only for the planting.
Knowledge is the process of forgetting how much we do not know
Wisdom begins when curiosity replaces certainty. The greatest minds, from Socrates to Einstein, shared not answers but questions. To learn as if to live forever is to approach life as a student of its endless complexity. Every person, every moment, every mistake offers a lesson. Complacency is the quiet death of the spirit; curiosity is its resurrection. Remain teachable.
💡 Eko Worth Remembering
“If we are unduly absorbed in improving our lives we may forget altogether to live them”
🛤️ Off the Record
Hi friends, I know I have gone afk for the past few weeks but we are back now. I am not sure if I will continue to do these daily, might turn into a Monday and Friday thing to focus on the product until it is shipped and your daily Eko’s are truly personalized.
Post Asia tour (Full update on my LI), I took some time to put my head down and relax a bit to gain some clarity. The clarity I gained was that there are 3 major items I want to push to the public before year end.
Ekochamber (beta coming soooon, like this month)
A New Valuation Framework for the blockchain projects
Internal mental acuity and mindset (WIP)
To hit on Eko, while I was in SF I was able to get a v1 spun up with my buddy, Alex, so we will be sharing that soon once we work out a few things on the UX side. My original goal was to have this beta out to you all by the start of Oct, but that has been delayed a bit. It will be worth it tho!
I want to share some of the questions I spent a lot of time thinking through to gain some clarity:
What actually makes me happy?
If I was less afraid of other peoples opinions what would I say?
If money and status were no object what would I do?
Does success actually make me happy?
What emotions am I unprepared to feel?
